About the Authors
This is Leslie. She did most of her growing up in Rome but her youngest years were spent in the Atlanta area. She lives in Rome with her 21 year old daughter and 4 ½ year old son. Leslie loves working for NWGACU because she feels like she sees a family member every day, each time one of our members walks in the door. She loves that the employees truly care about each other and the members that we help day in and day out.
This is Michelle. She grew up in Summerville, Georgia. She lives in Summerville with her husband, Todd, daughters, Ali (17) and Lauren (13), and shih tzu, Suki. She also has a son Spencer, daughter Lindsey, son-in-law Jake and a 5- month old granddaughter, Jaylee. Michelle loves NWGACU because the staff here are like family. She thinks it would be hard to find a better group of co-workers anywhere. She loves that at NWGACU, we live out our philosophy of “people helping people”, and that the members own the credit union. Michelle says NWGACU is the place to be!
This is Kelly. She grew up in Marietta, Georgia and lives in Rome with her husband, Michael, baby girl, Caroline, and dog, Cooper. Kelly loves talking about money! As Financial Literacy Coordinator at NWGACU, she goes into classrooms and offices around town to teach financial literacy – a perfect fit!
This is Stephanie. She grew up in Adairsville, Georgia and now lives in Rome with her husband, Charles, toddler, Thomas and dog, Bailey. Stephanie loves the cooperative spirit of the credit union, and knowing that at NWGACU, we are helping people everyday.
This is Rebekah. She grew up and lives in Rome with her really fat cat, Lily. Rebekah loves NWGACU because whether she’s opening up a teenager’s first checking account, making a loan for a car, or helping someone with a credit builder loan, she feels like she’s truly helping our members make sound financial decisions.
This is Christi. She grew up mostly in Daphne, AL, but moved around a lot in the Gulf Coast region from Mobile, AL to Louisiana. She currently lives in Rome with her husband, four year old, newborn, two boxers and four rabbits. Christi loves that the members appreciate what we do for them and that the staff loves helping members in any way we can.
